01 psd fuel rail supply line sleeve part number?
Looking for the ford part number that goes on the compression fitting that is on the steel lines that feed the heads, any one got it handy?- mankypro

for Sale: 1984 F-250 3/4 ton 6.9l Turbo Northern Colorado - WVO Converted
Eric 415-840-5002 1984 F-250 3/4 ton SuperCab 6.9l Turbo Diesel 4x4 with a two tank WVO (Vegetable Oil Conversion), operational but currently disabled. We use both tanks as diesel tanks. This truck was my baby, used to drive it back and forth from my place in Idaho with never a problem...- mankypro

Trailer running lights not working??
Over the past year I've had my left and right turning and power lines fail on my hitch in rapid succession. I just ran new wires and spliced from the back lights.- mankypro

Just a warning about wmo & colder weather
When I experimented with wmo/atf a few years back I found that my gpo's needed replacing at least 2x a year.- mankypro

Did not expect an electric fuel pump to be such an improvement!
I had trouble maintaining reliable psi with 5's and 13's i changed over to FASS 14psi pumps and never looked back.- mankypro

what kind of deals you got worked out for your WMO?
A few years back before I converted to WVO I experimented extensively with WMO and acquiring it. Most mechanics have to pay to dispose of the oils - if you present yourself as trusty worthy person they will most likely agree to give it to you. I found that ATF was the prize - it burns much...- mankypro

Sorry I missed your post till now, I could've eased your pain earlier :) Yeah the theft thingie got me the first time too! LOL p.s. the mileage gauge in the center top console lies, you should do your calculations by hand, they tend to differ a great deal from what the truck says...- mankypro

Thinking about a WMO set up.
Howdy, I don't know how well a bubbler will work through used motor oil, it tends to be more viscous than waste vegetable oil. The maximum psi for a steel drum is about 10 psi - they can and do bulge as well - it is reported to be a dangerous proposition. You're probably better off using a...- mankypro

PSD question-asking here because theres not much traffic in the PSD forum......
The donor vehicle is a 1st gen PSD, the recipient is a 2nd Gen PSD - different animals in many respects. Did your friend replace the electronics as well?- mankypro

Hate my drivetrain. What's my best option?
Let's keep in mind most of the folks on the thread are mostly 1st Gen PSD or IDI folks. The 7.3 X is a 2nd Gen PSD. The top of the fuel bowl indeed has an FPR, it's contained in the return outlet. You can replace the outlet housing with a more durable steel one from Bob's O-Rings they come...- mankypro

About 4 years back there was a sale at Autozone and they were like $1.50 each I bought 40 of them, think I still have 8 sticks left :) Recently though the best price I've seen for them new is EBAY, around $9.00ea- mankypro

Incredible vehicle 1983 f-250 6.9l IDI
The engine has good compression. 2 year old injectors, year old glow plugs, a 9.5 BTDC tuned IP, 13psi Walbro fuel pump, 1 year old starter and two Optima gel 1,000ca batteries that are 2 years old. No matter what she starts on a dime. -20f? Hasn't been started in 6 months? First compression stroke. Damn I love my IDI. I don't take it out much these days, just sits in the yard under the pine tree...but I'll be damned if it's not the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned - we'll forget...- mankypro
