I came home and looked at the relation of the studs vs the elongated holes and it doesn't seem that there is a whole lot of room for it to move so... Just fun I broke all the lines loose from the injectors and the ones I could get to on the pump to see how much room it would move the other...
I can't say what the previous owner did to the truck... However he did tell me that the engine was rebuilt so it is possible that everything was removed

Old bull that's the lug and the wrench we were using even put a big pipe on it to see if we could move it but to no avail it would not budge I'm gonna check later when I get home to see if in fact there is no room for it to move within the slot

We got it to move about an eighth of an inch toward the driver side. But then it wouldn't move past the timing mark we made going towards the passenger side
