    I still have the factory oil pump. I think all those parts were boxed up after the rebuild. Don't mean to ask dumb questions, but you don't know if you don't ask. Is there a way to check a oil pump to see if it's good?

    Thanks to everyone for help. I'm going to take off the oil filter, see what I can find, if nothing there, I'll pull the oil cooler off and go deeper. If the valves in the oil cooler isn't the problem, where should I look next? Thanks again guys, all help is greatly appreciated.

    The mechanical gauge is teed into the oil line going to the turbo. Would you guys happen to have a couple pics on the oil regulator? If the oil cooler has to come off, how hard is it to remove from the engine? Thanks again.

    After i got the oil pan off, about a 3 inch chunk of the block fell off, all the way up to the motor mount. Time to start over from scratch. Good thing i kept the old motor out of the truck.
