Scotty, What Does SuperF350's 6.9 need? I mean, do you need to put your lower assembly in his block? If that's the case then yes you should hone it. If you have the cash re-ring it. Scott, I'm a little unclear on what SuperF350 has. Does he basically have a complete 6.9 minus the heads and fuel system? If that's what he has, then I'd look at the cylinders to check the ridge and for scuff marks. If that looks ok then I'd move on to your heads. If you truly have a...- 6point9diesel

I found a used 6.9 engine here in Minnesota, I'd volunteer to pick it up and drive it the first leg of the race this weekend, if we could find a few more people between us...$1500 is what they are...- 6point9diesel

bleeding Clutch questions
Can't remember who did it this way, but you can bleed it from the slave cylinder under the pickup. I did mine this way with fair results. No matter how you look at it, it's a pita. I think the best way is with a pressure bleeder, but they are expensive...maybe you could borrow one from a...- 6point9diesel

Valve Covers
Not sure if you've found some experimental v-covers yet, but here's a set in case you're still looking. Also, I noticed that you found a set of exhaust manifold from a bus...I think there is a set on ebay right now from a pickup. Paul- 6point9diesel
