I'm currently working on a '88 F-350 with a '94 factory turbo motor in it.
Someone previously had replaced the stock intake with a hacked-up rubber boot L(with a hole cut for the CDR tube, JB welded in place), a piece of straight metal pipe and a 4" cone filter(K&N knockoff).
Obviously, this is complete sh*t, leaking in several places.
I need to replace this. But with what?
I can either find a replacement stock intake - If I can find one for a reasonable amount of money(or one of you has one spare cheap), that would be a decent, turn-key option.
Otherwise, does anyone have any good ideas on what to do?
Basically, I need a complete replacement setup from the intake of the turbo to the air cleaner. So I need to provision an L, CDR vent connector, and air filter.
Ideas?
