That's a nice looking truck. I like the wheels on there. And it appears to have a Factory turbo on it. Oh, sure. Now I see your other post with the engine pics. So how much did you end up giving for it and how does it run/start?

Runs like a top, barely bump the key and fires up strong! Paid 6k for it.

And let the obsession begin. Seriously though that is a very clean pickup. Good find, and I hope you have lots of fun using and potentially modifying the beauty.

Any suggestions on how to gain a few more hp’s Are greatly appreciated. I know I will change exhaust, ip, injectors and glow plugs to get started.

Intercooler is a fantastic upgrade but I would start by getting a boost and egt gauge and turning the pump up. From there you can start bolting on parts

nice rig :D
good to see not all of them are beat to death.
check around to see if the Banks downpipe for the OEM turbo is still availible. iirc Summit has a deal on them. if I have time this evening, I'll look.
what more you can do? a bigger pump and injectors and a intercooler is in order.

I would say the biggest choker that is currently on that engine would be the downpipe. Go with a banks dp like towcat mentioned and it’ll really wake up that truck.
If injectors & IP are original, call Mel (Conestoga Diesel) for a baby moose & new injectors and you’ll really have a strong running idi.
