I dont know why I'm so excited about this part. But I've been searching for something of the like for a while and this one seems to fit the bill.
Need to get a T, and plumb in a fuel pressure gauge, get a small nipple and some clear hose so it can dump outside of the engine compartment, and it'll be ready to cleanly evac air!

I just use a swagelock 5psi poppet valve that is tied into my injection feed line. It maintains 5 psi and returns the remainder. Goes below 5psi check valve closes. So it. Bleeds and and keeps consistant fuel pressure they are like $20. I ran mine to the fuel return line

Here's some information on them, for 1/4" male NPT on both side the part number would be SS-CHM4-5 if it's 1/8" it'd be SS-CHM2-5. this will crack at around 5psi, mine opens at 6psi. This keeps a constant 6psi on your injection pump constantly returns fuel above that, constantly bleeds air (just like the factory filter) but rather than bleeding with a flow restriciton orifce only bleeds that which is above what the pump needs. I did run my front tank extremely low last week, i put 15 gallons back into my 19 gallon front, which is the lowest of ever running, i had to stop very quickly and the truck started sputtering, no dying, just a slight sputering and cleared up in about 5 seconds. I think i pulled some air in but it did its job bleeding it out and keeping the truck running. With my setup the factory filter has been deleted, the filters and pump are down below frame level and the IP is the highest point asside from the tee that connects to it with this fitting

These are the new 3-8 & 5/16"
Tube to -6AN
It actually encapsulates the tube and seals it.
Far better than that plastic one I showed you a few months ago

been spending alot of time with the babys.
summer is here, and ill be grinding alot more after this weekend.
i got the power windows done, and door locks 1/2 way done.
huge thanks to @Leeland for helpin me out on this.
there arnt many of you guys with 4 electrical windows LOL

hoping to finish up the dash wiring today, gauges also.
after thats done, ill be buttoning up the cab, then doing brake lines.
its a steady down hill slope but i cant seem to deactivate the jake brake lol

i need this truck to be a runner next weekend, i have a 400 mile trip to go on for the 4th of july.

looks like i wont be able to get the bumper powder coated right now.
so ill be putting it on bare until i finish things up.
maybe i shoul;d atleast wire wheel it and paint it.

please bare with me while i vent....

THIS IS WHY I OWN LOTS OF PROJECTS!
IM SO DAMN FRUSTRATED WITH THIS TRUCK RIGHT NOW.
no matter what i do i cannot get the door locks to work properly.

normally id be kicking this project outside and bringing in another.
but i must stick with it.
im just spent, tired, and done working on this thing....
i need me a change of pace....

i am going to take a break from wiring for now.

lots of things i can be doing.
pulled turbo today to tighten it after it was clocked.
got it back in, radiator modified for charge pipes.
ran the return line, and i have just enough to make it!
installed power windows on a relay switched with ACC power
finished radiator/heater lines. coolant filter is complete.
filter head complete with 3/16" clear tube evac out of the engine compartment.
installed the slave cylinder, looks like the master has a leak.
installed a few other minor items...

im on kid duty for the night, back on it again tomorrow

was relieved of duty.
after buggin the hell out of Leeland, we figgured it out.
i was trying to hook up door locks for "without keyless entry"
on a "keyless entry" vehicle.
both systems are completely different, keyless uses a module that changes the wiring in the door switches....
weird.
but ok, its done and both kick panels are on!
need to pull the drivers side kick and install a OBS style hood release.
installed the pass side sill plate, and man its gonna look pretty damn cool once i shampoo the carpets!

One step at a time, it really seems like the little things take the longest. The last 10 percent takes 90 percent of the time!
