So what did you do with your truck today?

Never seen a plug like that. (Not saying no one else has, just not me personally)
A lot of the trucks were assembled in Canada.
I'm betting you pulled the dipstick out when you did the valve cover gaskets.

Yeah, I think it's probably what happened. It's impossible to tell. There is sooo much oil caked on there I can't tell what's what. I'm not getting any dripping, but there is a lot of oil all around the starter, the flywheel housing, the oil pan... it's a mess. Hoping now that most of this stuff is squared away I can pressure wash it and see what ELSE is leaking....

*** Happened?!
Breather was plugged, has been pushing fluid out of the hub seal for quite a while. Took 5 mins with a drill to open the breather back up.
The disk swap was a total CF, I ended up tearing each side apart like 3 times.
The ratcheting hub nut was completely screwed, some ******* with a hammer and screwdriver was in there before me. I put it back in cause I needed the truck back on the road, no one in town had one, and theyre 80 bucks from autozone.

Yesterday got a new catalytic converter and a new alternator. $600 some because I was over 300 miles from home. Completed a 700 mile trip with it yesterday. It's still king of the road :). It's amazing what a bad alternator and bad catalytic converter combined can do to one of these trucks... Got waaay better power (felt like a new machine!) and slightly improved fuel economy. On the first half of the trip, got 7.5MPG avg. On the latter half of the trip, with the new parts, I got 9.5MPG. Most of the trip was 70MPH, so I call that good fuel economy, considering I have 4.56 gears.

Can't pass an inspection without a catalytic converter. I got a aftermarket high-flow cat that looks exactly like the OEM and will pass emissions in Cali should I ever need to. I do not have a muffler on it (yet), I'll probably put a Dynomax VT high-flow muffler on it. I'm loving the new found performance and 25% increase in fuel economy!
