Well I'm trying to find the correct pedestal GROMMET for the 088 kit I hope to install on my truck.

I've read it's a stock CDR grommet, however that is a long tube poking upwards to meet with the CDR.

Does that mean it just gets cut down to fit?

Any members have an 088 installation instruction set around?

I've got all the other parts but when I pulled the turbo there was a huge messy oily glob of RTV in place of the grommet on the truck I pulled the engine from.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated.

Remove the cdr pedestal tube and just use the rubber grommet that seals it to the valley pan.

The new CDR pedestal tube is a ONE piece rubber setup at the Stealership here locally. It is NOT inespensive and as such before I go chipping a near 30 dollar part I want to make sure it is the correct part!
