Another thread on the dreaded discontinued pedestal grommet, but for a change it's it's a good one! I got tired of the never ending search for the correct grommet that will actually seal, so I decided to just make one. Couple of quick measurements and cad time and some oil resistant tpu and we have a perfect fit 3d printed grommet. Slightly pressure fit on both the pedestal and the valley, needs a tap in with a dead blow to fully seat.
Gonna tested it for a while driving and make sure everything is kosher and maybe make some for people in need.
