Try a search on "flag terminal"; that's the buzzword for a terminal for two wires. Surprisingly, RockAuto doesn't seem to carry them. Here's one I just stumbled on: http://www.allbatterysalesandservice.com/browse.cfm/2,1643.html . If you're looking for a complete pre-built positive cable with both battery terminals, the starter terminal and the terminal for the breakout at the starter relay, RockAuto does have those.

Edit - waitaminit, here's some 2/0 dual terminals at O'Reilly's: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/s...oap?page=1&sortBy=1&results=All&narrowBy=flag . Prob. have to wait a day for warehouse-to-store delivery.

How doe the cables connect to that terminal?

I was under the impression "soldier" ends were a no-no, something about it makes the copper strands brittle and vibration 'work hardens' the end that will cause breaking?
Crimping is the way to go...maybe?

AFAIK those terminals can be crimped or soldered.

I wouldn't rely on soldering alone as a connection because if the wire heats up it can melt the solder and the wire can then touch ground and cause a fire.

I burnt up a starter once and I looked under the truck and saw a pool of lead where the starter got so hot it melted the end right out of the lug. luckily it just hung there and didnt touch anything.

You stick the stripped end through the nut then then screw it into the terminal. It worked prety good.

i got welding cable and copper lugs and it works great. before i used the terminal to stud adaptors you get at autozone etc

Soldered lugs on welding cable been working on a buddy's dt466 for 2 years, but mil clamps with a master kill bolt sounds better if cost isn't an issue. I already swapped to big truck batteries with post adapters, had to "modify" the trays with a torch in my 90. I have a few more years before I need to mess with lugs....
