I need some battery cable clamps, and different things for redoing my battery cables and such; but I for the life of me can't seem to find a good site to really order from that has what I want. I tried custombatterycable but shipping is 2-3 weeks out so I need something else besides just googling and hoping for the best.

Anyone have any good recommendations?

Thanks

I went to my local napa store. They have a pretty good selection in battery cables and terminals.

I dont have a napa near me. I went to walmart, autozone, advanced auto parts, and oreilys and they didn't have anything over regular size ones. Nothing like 1/0 or 2/0 for the diesel copper cable.

EDIT: they did have single clamps which is what I used for one positive, and the 2 negatives; but I need a dual setup for the last positive/to starter which they dont carry.

So I was going to try and just put the regular crimp/solder on copper terminal ends and bolt them one with a military clamp but again they didn't have those in a big enough size to go that route either.

All your heavy truck owners do this--Go to your local heavy truck parts supply--I went to the local volvo dealer and you buy solder on ends with eylets--you will have to switch over to the heavy truck battery with studs and then use welding cable. The stuff has real fine strands and comes in some really heavy guage with neophrem rubber coating. If you make them a little longer you can always put new ends on also that coating doesnt melt with heat.

Take a look at what Wrangler electronics has to offer. I used their military clamps and soldier on lugs to make my cables from what they sold me a year before. The double end clamp on the passenger side of their cable broke to thats why I changed to the military style clamp. All I do is remove one long bolt and the complete power to the truck is cut off. Way much easier than pulling a clamp off the battery terminal.

do you have a website for them that you used or anything?

I tried googling them but only thing I can find is a site with a catalog, but nothing to order from.

Try a search on "flag terminal"; that's the buzzword for a terminal for two wires. Surprisingly, RockAuto doesn't seem to carry them. Here's one I just stumbled on: http://www.allbatterysalesandservice.com/browse.cfm/2,1643.html . If you're looking for a complete pre-built positive cable with both battery terminals, the starter terminal and the terminal for the breakout at the starter relay, RockAuto does have those.

Edit - waitaminit, here's some 2/0 dual terminals at O'Reilly's: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/s...oap?page=1&sortBy=1&results=All&narrowBy=flag . Prob. have to wait a day for warehouse-to-store delivery.
