...I'm starting a new thread off of the question of seats in the dually for sale.

Does anyone know where/who has nice aftermarket seats that fit??

All my previous contacts from the early 80's are long gone. Hadn't thought about it until recently, then Frankenstein made me ask!

Thanks ;Sweet

I used a pancake mount airride jump seat out of a 9670 IH cabover in the drivers seat and one that just has the fore aft isolators on the passenger side with a center console flip up seat out of a 98 superduty.
I DO love that airride :D

I'm willing to pay for some nice seats...but nothing that will break the bank. I don't like leather seats either, it's just one step below the vinyl stick factor.... in Socal we wear shorts most of the time....even winter.

The truck is going down hard this week. Got some stuff from Typ4 and other sources. Injectors, oil cooler service, hydroboost conversion, possible oil pan drop-n-reseal, flush cooling system and redo DCA's, PS pump seal kit and return line upgrade for hydro, new flexible brakes lines all around.... Soon it will be time to make the truck pretty and comfy.

BTW- I adjusted the FIPL to within specs in the write up...... went from neck snapper to smooooooth as butter.

I don't wear shorts, but I agree completely with that statement  and I sit in vehicles with leather seats on an almost daily basis...

If you get a chance, try to go to a Ford stealership or an auto show or similar and sit in a 2010 or newer Fusion. I don't know what exactly Ford did with the front seats in that car, but it's hands-down the most comfortable seat I've ever sat in...if they made a disel Fusion with a manual tranny, I'd trade my Jetta for one in a heartbeat, and I'm toying with the idea of trying to find a set of Fusion seats and finding a way to graft them into my truck...others may disagree, but it almost feels like the Fusion seat was custom-designed for my back. And, this is coming from someone who has difficulty finding a comfortable seat...

Also, I recall Travis (argve) found a set of good aftermarket seats for the original Enterprise...I don't remember where he got them from, but hopefully he'll see this thread

A friend of mine swapped leather seats in a Chevy to aftermarket ones. They were awesome comfy.... that was 7 years ago, the guy went out of business at the economic downturn.

Tough to find a good place that deals with customers in a disposable income dollar industry, like opting to upgrade to aftermarket seats.

I just picked up a 40-20-40 bench seat out of a F150 it is in really nice shape. I was hoping they would bolt in with at least with the out side 4 bolts well that's not the case i will have to drill all 8 holes to make them work.

If you look under your cab the mounting points should already be marked. At least they were on my extended cab.

I am going to work on it next Saturday I hope they are marked I will pull my bench out and lift up the rubber floor and take a look. They are very nice siting seats and I would have a place for my coffee cup a bonus.
