If were talking gassers too, my dads 2011 dodge 1500 gets around 14.5 empty driving like a grandma. 12.5-13 when I'm driving. And gets like 8 in stop in go traffic.
I'd HATE to see what kind of mileage it would get with a load! That's what my diesels for:D

but that hemi will still walk off and leave it with a load LOL. my cousin has an 07 dodge 2500 hemi 6 speed. with 30k lbs behind it (yes 30K lbs not including truck) pulls strong and hard but gets about 4 mpg loaded. truck stock other then exhaust with 35s will catch 3rd gear :D, but its a dodge :puke:

My son advanced the timing about 2 degrees. The truck had previously been optimized for B100. He said, Dad what a difference! He can now cruise at 110 km/h (65 mph); the speed limit, where he could only get up to 80 km/h before. He got 150 km on the first 1/4 tank which is probably more like 2/5 tank. Won't really know 'til he fills it again.

Sorry, not trying to hi-jack the thread.

The truck... 10mpg with an IP weeping fuel and both IP and injectors having 175k miles. now I get 15

the old boat... a 47' Atlantic with twin DD 671Ts. 25 gallons an hour going 12 knots. The old detroit. least efficient at mileage but most efficient at converting diesel into noise (or music)

Definitely music!!

My single n/a get's 6GPH in a 40' boat full throttle.... only doing 9.8 knots.

Weird the differences, burning twice the fuel with more HP/torque to boot.

So far the ole IDI's worst is 13.5mpg, driving excess throttle and only light loads to date.
