Is getting worn out
went to the passenger side to advance, drivers side to retard
changed #8 to an old injector, still no change
Try advancing it more
went to the passenger side to advance, drivers side to retard
changed #8 to an old injector, still no change
1/8" is way too much to move it at a time. 1/32" at a time, each 1/32" move equals 3-4 degrees timing. Don't move it while the engine is running, at least tighten the top nut between each move.
okay now you can hear in person. i put the pump back on the witness marks and made a video.

yes, blue smoke. from what i understand this is incompletely combusted fuel.
i retarded it back 1/32nd below the witness mark, no effect. i think at this point i should correctly time it to at least eliminate a timing issue.
this fuel thing is killing me. i didnt think putting NEW injectors in would screw up my fueling.
no smoke at idle
no miss that i can detect at idle
increase RPM, get blue smoke, hesitation, and slight knock
knock and smoke go away when you let off the throttle
theres gotta be something stupid im missing.
