a New Process 4500 trans is standard in the gm diesel truck world. big, heavy, noisy, simple and bulletproof.

Um, a 6.2 was used in a 1989. That's why my gas-6.2 conversion is going so easily, I can use oem parts if I want a really smooth look (or if I want to be lazy and not fabricate...)

oh im wonting to do 6.2 swap to get rid of the 5.7 does the 6.2 need a cumputer or anything

The 6.2 only needs power for the starter, glowplugs, IP and the regular accessories. Ditch that computer
