I got mine used for 10 bux. Is on pretty nice shape. I ordered a new light kit (gonna LED it), and mounting kit.,..

any chance you have a part number for the LED kit... I need to get a new mounting bracket for the drives side light, keeps falling out and the wires are also falling down despite what I try to use to secure them up, duct tape / zip tie mounts....

I noticed my visor vibrates a tad at high speed when there are nasty crosswinds, otherwise it never moves. No mpg loss, but the cool factor went up.

Take your bug deflector off and see what happens.

I have never had an issue with my visor vibrating, ever, and my IDI has been run as hard as it will go for miles more times than I'd like to admit.
That bug deflector may have something to do with it.

Ha you know that may be way mine vibrates like hell. I have a bug defector, and wind hits it alot more than if I didn't have it.

I'm still removing that damn visor way before removing my bug deflector!

I may lose the bug deflector, it's starting to split in two places where it mounts to the hood. As soon as it get to where you can see it on the outside, it's gone.

My bug deflector is coming apart..cracking, but it will stay for now.. and Ive seen 75 in the truck without my visor vibrating... I think it might be a individual issue???

Funny; I had just recently been contemplating getting one of the genuine old-style bug deflectors; the kind that mounts to the underside of the hood via L-brackets and has the clear red plexiglas (or blue, or clear, or amber, or smoke, etc.), instead of that old sissy contoured glue-on kind.

Now, after all this discussion about how they make the visors lose MPG and mirrors quiver, I am about talked out of it.

Dang they are discontinuing them! Not that I could afford a new one anyway. I've actually had deals set up on several of them in the past but for whatever reason people just dont seem to want to sell their stuff after they list it.

The Wiring Kits are still available. I'll have to see if I can dig up that info. But the LED's You have to do on Your own.

my visor is partially cracked just around the bolt holes from over-tightening and that may be why i feel and hear the hard hits from the wind hitting it at highway speeds. i think i paid like $30 for mine used and just painted it to match. i think the fact that i have a leveling kit and the front is pointed up more than a stock truck might be why the wind hits it differently.... it sure makes a big difference in the way that truck looks though....

My truck came with a Lund visor and the truck made noise in the wind also. I blamed it on the visor, and someone suggested it was not installed correctly. I re-installed the whole thing and it still did it. Come to find out the aluminum trim around the front windshield was a little loose(on both sides) and made the rattling noise, not the visor. A little clear caulk under the window trim solved my noise issue.

I've found the part number for a Universal Mounting Kit listed as 41103. But could not find that part availible anywhere. I found 41515. The instructions seem to indicate it's for a Ram application. But the hardware is identical accross the applications.
