I figure its a good start at least

I would say you did very well. I was commenting for a few of reasons. First I was thinking about how I wish I had gotten a more complete setup but I still can't argue with what I paid. Second I think this is a better deal than I got. And third as Mr Morton pointed out it was a needle in a haystack kind of posting. Lucky was living up to his name just to find it first. (nice work by the way)

Thanks, It is pretty exiting , Now I just have other things to buy....Pyro, boost gauge and probably alot of misc. stuff for the turbo itself. This truck being a reg cab short bed should be pretty fun with the turbo diesel, it has power right now, I just cant wait to see what kind of gain I get from the turbo. Also I cant tell if that is a hypermax conventional system or a pulse, I see three exaust pipes but the manifold only looks like it has one.

Dude, you won a leg lamp! That's a major award as old man Parker would say. You got yourself a PULSE turbo there son. The Genuine $1400 article with all the trimmings that I can see. Congrats! Now the only question that remains, is your transmission the same as the donor vehicle? If not, be prepared to pay more for a pair of up pipes then you did for your major award. You'll also need to fashion up a RDT or your own route back to the crankcase, as the donor vehicle still wears it's valve cover I would bet.

Yup. That's the current model they are selling, and you'll have all the latest castings. That was an incredible steal. I spent $400 for a used turbo that I then had to buy $600 worth of stuff for. What I see there is ready to bolt on. On second look, you may need the glow plug relay mounting plate, but you could fab that yourself. Mine has a 6.9 with push button glow plugs, Will that still apply?

So the pipes will be differant being that I have a c-6 huh? Shipping was about 40.00 bucks(Really cheap I think). I wonder if the pipes will work? Paid him Today, so I should have it within the next 10 days I would think. Should really make my little truck scoot.

keep me in mind if the pipes dont work for you. I dont know how its going to fit in my truck since its going in a 72. I going to be putting the engine in the next few weeks as it warms up a bit. Im probley going to put the engine as far forward as I possible can without hitting my radiator. that way I will have room for any turbo combo.

Its just kind of a test piece, I was going to fab up a better one once I seen how it worked. Also I had a couple turbos i was going to try. I would actuall still like to Brainstorm some ideas with the remote turbo.......it would be cool if we could get one together and write up a really good tech article with parts used and installation procedure. What do ya think?
