Aren't they supposed to be on par with the Turbo cooler tubes for fin count? That's what I seem to remember seeing. It should be a good investment. Especially considering that the price is a lot less than most of the new ones that I've seen for sale.

Had to go look it up, stock is 24 fins, turbo is 30, which is what this one is based off of, except its stainless. Eager to see if it helps with my tempersture saturation issue on my truck, and as a 'future proof' for my dads truck.

Back on the road again, after E4od rebuild. Its nice to drive without the transmission going into limp mode! Just hope it lasts, 12 month or 12k mile warranty.

Seems like a common issue. Staring at this cleanup right now.
Every one of these Pines has to go. They are all dead/dying. Really have a deep hatred for the jerk who dropped all this in my lap.

I feel your pain there, this is my spread
They planted a set of tree rows all over my property in '70.....
I've been cutting down and ripping out trees since I bought the place, the whole property was tree rows that weren't taken care of or planted properly.....
Loads of Russian olive, random lilacs, and a crapload of pines that were planted WAY too close together.... The area labeled totally dead trees are a mix of cottonwood, elm, and ash.... That's where I have made the most progress to date.... Some of those had 30"+ trunks.......
The pines got beetles according to NDSU, so they'll randomly drop healthy limbs......
They look good from the air and from a long distance, get within 100' and you start to see just how dead they are......The southern 2 rows of pines are full on the south side, but completely dead on the north half, those are 30-40' tall... 8-10" trunks on average...
The northern 3 rows of pines are dead until the 30'+ mark..... The tops seem healthy until you're sitting outside and hear a random crack and a huge full limb falls to the ground.... Those range from 40-60' tall.....
All the trees were placed on ~5' spacing with rows 10' apart..... And the rows were places on dirt mounds 2-3' high, so it's not even flat for mowing in the rows.....
Started my orchard last year... Mixed fruit and nut trees lain out on a 20' grid......
Ex wife knew what a PITA it was to the point that with all her complaints about everything else, she never even raised an eyebrow when I bought a mid size wheel loader.....
I had an arborist estimate how much wood it was, he figured it was close to 1500 cord by the time I'm done......
Another 10 years and it'll be cleared....... Using a 1980s CAT 920 and a $700 stump grinder.......
Biggest PITA of the whole thing is that I have to get the trees cleared to be able to build my shop!

Edit: I do envy you guys that can be doing this stuff in the winter..... I could to an extent, but in my situation it's not that realistic when it's too cold to push the trees out of the ground....

Today Installed new mirrors. The originals wouldn't stay in place anymore. Been fighting them for a couple years, could rig them and they would work for a few weeks then get sloppy again. Finally they reached bobble head status.

Went with the LMC set as the trust vs Amazon was greater than the price difference.

And when I went to install them I was initially thinking they would bolt right on. Well the bolt patterns on the top and bottom mounts are the same but they chose to monkey with the upper mount design and the space between the upper and lower mounts was different. (I needed to replace the mounts as the old ones were not fully there, just hanging on)

So close LMC, but nope. Fail.

So new holes in doors. Oh well. I am planning to fix things up some in the near future, after the Dump truck is finished, so I'll address that then.

Also, someone had backed into the front of my truck a few months ago. Not sure who. But they broke the grill and right side lights and trim ring as well as the header panel. Great. Had to have been a lifted something or other, because they were higher than the front bumper, which wasn't touched.

So got all new lights, grill and trim rings, picked up a good header panel at the pull a part last visit there because I found one. Decided to start disassembly today as I am also redoing the battery cables and grounds.

I knew the core support had some rust but was not prepared for how much I found. It's bad. The driver's side of the core support was sitting 11/16 of an inch lower from the frame than the passenger side. This had to be addressed.

I have a new core support sitting literally 3 feet from the truck, but that is for the dump truck, so a repair is needed. And it needed to be a quick, good enough repair for the moment.

I cut out the worst of the rust where the support had collapsed, then wedged pieces of metal between the frame and good part of the core support the raise it up to the right height. Then welded in metal to add vertical support where the missing metal was. It was not easy as rusty metal doesn't weld nicely, but I found enough good metal to get it done.

It is rather Frankensteiny but I am okay with it considering the situation. It is temporary until I can do a proper fix.
