Is it common for oversized pistons to not be stamped with the overbore amount? example .030". I'm in the process of cleaning up an engine (7.3 idi) that I've had in storage for many years. Reason I saved it is because it has a "Remanufactured Engine" decal on the engine block + it ran great. Anyway I recently pulled the heads anxious to see if it was bored and the pistons are not stamped with anything. Not marked "std", or any overbore amount? Measuring the bore it's 4.14" indicating a .030" overbore.

Not that I've seen. Then again, I haven't seen everything either.
Are they .jpg? That is the surest type that will load. Not sure what types of picture files this site will allow.
I've been off this site for a while and just now returning to another idi project. Years ago I posted many photos however they were all taken with what is now considered an "old fashion" camera that had an SD card. These current photos I attempted to attach were taken with my cell phone. I'm about as computer savvy as an IDI! Sent the photos to my laptop in an email, then saved to a file. Those files / photos are the ones I tried to attach. Maybe I'll have to dig out that old camera for this thread?

Sounds like a good plan to me.
Every picture has a dot extension on the end of it. What you are emailing and trying to upload is just a bunch of 1's and zero's, the extension determines what program is needed to reconstruct the picture. If your phone is sending the picture in some weird format that the site doesn't support, then it will not work.
.jpg is a common format most sites support.
.gif is another common format
.pdf is a format used by Acrobat
.bmp is used by paint as well as .png
You have to make sure your photos are in a common format. Sometimes you can take the photo and do a "save as" and let the software on the phone or the computer change the format to something more common.

It all depends on where the remanufacturer purchased the pistons from. If they ordered a large quantity of pistons, from a non-standard supplier (i.e. low cost country source) they may not be marked. Often it is easier and cheaper to setup and machine all engine bores to a set size (say 0.030" over) and only have one piston size in inventory than it is to machine each one differently or to exactly what it needs. If you only have one piston size in inventory, there is no reason to mark them.
Just to also toss my 2¢ out there, it could be that it is just that wore out. I had a stock block with stock pistons give good compression numbers and one hole was wore out by a lot, measured around 4.147 on one hole, rest were 4.12. Your safest bet is to measure the piston.
