Great CDD experience

I hear alot of hate about cdd and I can’t speak for many of there products but I will share my exceptional experience with them

I was tearing my motor down and used a new valley pan so I needed to get a new grommet as the old one had solidified ,kicker is the 085/ old style n/a grommet is very much obsolete

He was very helpful walking me though what my options are and how to work around it and said he is working on developing a grommet for it

And I asked if he had some o rings I needed for the turbo he asked for measurements and was able to make me an 085 reseal kit which is now on his website which I found to be above and beyond service

I have also heard the stories, but so far only bad experience I had was when I told them my 092 kit had a blown out joint, I was greeted with a ‍"shrug, dunno what to tell ya."

I haven't made any huge purchases from CDD but lots of little stuff, radiator, intake hat, misc. parts, and when I had a question they were always quick to respond with something useful. I've encountered some haters but never heard why.

I have bought a bunch of stuff from CDD and only have had good experiences. They are and will continue to be my go to place for pumps, turbos, and parts.

I too have only had good experiences with CDD. I do not spend any time on facebook, so no idea where the hate comes from, but all the products I have bought have been top notch and they answered every question everytime. I would definitely buy from them again.

I had an issue with their steel injection lines, but the company itself is great and I would buy from them again. I still have their decal on my truck if that says anything

I've purchased several things from them including the IP, injectors, return line kit, etc. I've always found their products to be top notch. I had one injector fail and while they said it could be a number of reasons why it failed, they still replaced it free of charge. Their customer service has always been great and as long as I'm calling them during normal business hours, I always hear back within a short time period if they don't answer when I call. They've always been more than helpful with all of my issues, including helping me resolve things that didn't involve purchasing product from them.

your speculation about the Russel is not only incorrect, they are uncalled for, and plain ignorant.
check yourself.


there are several of us that will never deal with him.
but i dont see the need to call them out online.
do what you want with your own money.

I have heard several stories. It seems like its one extreme or the other. Either super good service, or super scummy business practices. Vote with your wallet my friends, is all I'll say. Its definitely a subject that drives wedges between people here though.

I’ll just say this. I’ve had the good and the bad with CDD. I will do business with them, but they’re not my first choice… I can sympathize with the like and dislike of their service.

I also know someone very close who had a real rough run through with them, he’s out on their products, and honestly, for good reason. His trouble was with injection pumps, eh, mostly.

A few of CDD’s products are wonderful IMO, and a few are overpriced compared to the quality of the items they sell. Most seem to be decent, but not necessarily fantastic. This is just my opinion and some of my experience with the company. 7.5/10, would recommend, but there are other good options out there.

All I can add to this is that I put a CDD IP, injectors, and return line kit on my truck today and I'm very happy with them all. I could get nit picky and complain that I was short two new clamps for the return line kit. That's minimal. The easy solution was to reuse two of the old ones. Granted, I only have maybe 30 miles on everything since I got it running again, but so far, so good.
