If the Yankees are “down there” in relation to your location. I think you just labeled yourself a Yankee....... I just knew you weren’t a FL native!! cookoo ;Poke:rotflmao

JK!!! Love you Freak!!
Only Yankees would live south of my location. Any logical person understands that there's hurricanes in those waters. And the bible says that fools build their houses on sand....... Matthew 7.

A while ago, my bride said she wanted a fire pit in the backyard and had laid out a circle of castle blocks. I told her that you can't just lay them on the ground like that, even the Bible mentions about building your house on sand. She says "oh, now you're going to quote me the Bible." The next day when I got home she says "look honey, I dug a circle where you can pour concrete for me to lay the blocks on." Not that I've learned to keep my mouth shut, but that was one time where my tongue gave my feet a good washing.

Waiting for the new spinny boy to come in so I can put it all back together!
I am glad that I am not the only one that saves cans...

when you have a lot of small parts...ya gotta organize them somehow...

I got a lot of flack from folks that saw my container collection...

I even have a use for the tops...I'll show you all a pic of it some day...

Beautiful-looking turbine...by the way...

In the middle of a move and rented an enclosed 6x12 for a few days to make some laps for storage and stuff. Nothing too heavy but just bulky large items that won't fit under the truck canopy.

Have really come to like the 4.10 gearing for situations like dark, cold, heavy fog where it's worth it to be extra cautious. 55mph and 2k ripms and easy does it

Not just a today project as I do not want anyone getting the idea that I am a man of speed. This has been over the past week or so.

Worked on the dash, when I replaced the light switch the plastic was breaking out where switch mounts so made a metal plate to reinforce the area. Right side brace was broke where most of them do so picked up a hurricane strap at the lumber yard and fit it in place. Took the bounce out.

Changed the antifreeze and coolant hoses, replaced the thermostat and block heater. Way more of a project then what it should have been as the parts house could not seem to get me the correct parts. Took twice on the upper radiator hose, first block heater was 400 watts which would not have done much in this area, fan belt was wrong twice and I finally just put the old one back on for now. Thermostat gasket was not correct so I made one. It is a forty mile round trip to the parts house so it really slows things down when they can not get things correct. Would not be quite so bad but much of this they did not stock so means another trip once they get things in.

I pulled the starter to make life a little easier installing the block heater. There was a little rust in the hole and I just could not get a good angle to clean it up with the starter in the way. At least they are not 40MT starters like I usually have to pull. This one seemed like a cake walk in comparison.

Installed a set of DeeZee running boards and fender flairs for the front wheels. Much easier getting into the truck now and hopefully it will stay cleaner as a added bonus.

I learned how to polish aluminum rims. It looks so much nicer now from where I sit behind the wheel!
