Sold and Delivered a 1996 F250 crewcab 460 ZF 2wd. my trailer hitch looks to be flexing, might need a new hitch. hauled it no issues, no mods and rolled over 380,000 miles this tank. I think i'll need a fan clutch soon, seems to be runnign constantly.

t recently tagged) its had a lope, and CEL im struggling with the OBD cant get torque pro to read it. I have been fixing issues from fuel to oil by doing the typical things, ICP, pulled apart IPR, replaced fuel lift pump, dropped and cleaned tanks hutch mods, rebuilt bowl EGBP valve, threw in a CPS, cleaned FSV, blew out lines. She runs and starts easily no CEL no smoke but it still has that damn lope, got it buzzed last week by a buddy that owns a shop using a snap on tester and that indicated that on the 4th buzz was noticeably weaker. Pulled the valve cover gasket didnt see any obvious bad problems, ohmed all the connectors out put it back together and she ran smooth as butter for 10 miles then the misfire returned. I just assumed it was number 3 (didnt get it buzzed again), Today put in a new VCG buttoned it up. It started easy, ran smooth as butter again for 18 miles, then misfire appeared. Just finished pulling IDM out and noticed pretty good amount of corrosion on pins. Im gonna slam it back in after cleaning and dielectric grease treatment, just hoping that the corrosion isnt in IDM itself. I have to drive this beast to Arkansas from Florida end of week.

delivered the 90 dually to a new owner near Owen sound ON. I have a 78/79 dana 60 in the back along with several truck brake drums on one side and 5 or 6 batteries on the other . no posi makes me nervous but its been pushing through some pretty deep snow last 2 weeks. he bought the spare turbo also. the old high mile powerstroke pulled great. got some goodyear dura tracs on the back a few weeks ago, what a difference, eventhough they are 8 yrs old, lots of tread.

I got a glow plug out.

It took 3 days, but I got it out. I thoroughly bathed it with PB Blaster, and with the help of this little gizmo, it came out of the 1996 7.3 Powerstroke.

changed the starter solenoid on the starter. had a new one in my stock of PSD parts. invoice in the box was from april 2019 so I had purchased it for a backup for my 97 F350 we took to the arctic. saved me a trip and having to order it. solenoid was loose in the metal casing, had bene overheated by loose/burnt connector on the wire to starter motor. had to pull the starter right off:(
got last start out of it when I left work , I wiggled while coworker cranked for me :Thumbs Up.

had some more dash lights burnt out on the way home from Listowel and forgot how low the front tank was, cruise cut out and started slowign down. oops switched tank quick

with my powerstroke I dragged home an idi tonite for the wife and kids to drive , but it only has 3 cylinders and is pretty ragged...... ok its a kubota G1800 w/4wheel steer. needs lots of TLC but it is a lot more user friendly for the family than my JD 430, and weighs 5-600lbs less . I'll put soem pics up on sunday.

Drove over 2700 km to Ashern Manitoba and back. On WMO FTW! Fred was a smokey mess when we got back, but a can of Seafoam in the crankcase, and another in the rear tank cleared that up. :) I mixed the WMO down to a 50% mix with diesel, and that works much better.

Ok, it wasn't today. It was April 11 when the pic was taken in Melville Saskatchewan.

It snowed again yesterday in Calgary.
