paranoid with stupid question

So when checking the coolant on my f250, it is pressurized even after sitting for a week or so. My IH never did that, so I just wanted to make sure it was normal and nothing is wrong. I always worry about stuff like this. It has done it ever since I owned it, so I just figured it is a pressurized system, especially since it has a pressure release radiator cap, but I just want to be sure. I would appreciate it if anyone can straighten me out on this. Thanks

I don't know , would really just consider it normal , Means the system is sealed up good to hold the pressure.

Yep it's just a good sign you have no leaks including your rad cap.

You have a condition common among us. It's a combination of automotive hypochondria and automotive paranoia. This can ultimately be quite expensive. It's somewhat akin to "the grass is always greener..."
