What options do i have to replace the fuse panel under the dash? Its real burnt and my blower motor quits so i have to wiggle the fuse... i have noticed that its all hardwired from the back so it would be difficult to put a new one in. Wondering what you guys have done.

I would get another fuse box and remove all the wires and pins from it, they are just held in with little tabs you can pry back and pull the wire and pin out. Then take your burnt fuse box and do the same but transfer each wire over and any burnt ones you can splice with the extra wire that you pulled out of the new fuse box. It’s not hard to do, I did it on mine as the mounting tabs were broken and I also added in a few extra circuits in the spare spots with the left over wire/pins.

Hey thanks man. Never thought of that. Where did you get a new one? Just grabbed a better one from a junk truck?

Ya I just grabbed one from another truck, probably impossible to find a new one and if you did it would be the whole dash harness.

Just be careful when your prying the little locking clips back that you don’t over do it, the old plastic can break easy sometimes.

I believe, hopefully not mistaken, that @chillman88 has a spare fuse block in a parts box I tossed his way last month. Was from an 85 F250 so not sure how alike they are.

I believe you may be correct. I had forgotten all about it.

O.P. is welcome to it for the cost of shipping. I don't expect to need it any time soon.

I'm not sure, I'd have to look. If they're not, they're very similar. I looked on google quick and can't tell any difference.
