That should work better. I think when I put mine on, I'll probably put it a bit higher.

I took the stud out of the middle of the air cleaner and put a couple of o rings. The air cleaner is now pretty well sealed up. But I'm going to do the garage door seal on the cowl, anyway.

I’ll get a picture of it tomorrow and maybe measure it. Was just the basic one from Ace. It fits real well there, i placed the smaller edge on the lower lip of the cowl. I did a bead of silicone of the lip a squiggly for the rest, and sealed the top area once the hood was down.

Pulled the interior apart today, well the plastics and headliner. Started wire wheeling all the rust and pulled the shift linkage cover. Put in my new reverse switch and noticed the plug prongs are broken so there is the highest possibility for the lights not working.

Minor rust on the cab sides and back cleaned up easy, the tough to reach spots in the corners, well lets hope POR15 stands to its name.

First pic is a thing behind the dash. This a relay if sorts?

I know its a T19 but do these numbers mean anything?

Also, what is that connection point on the transfer case? Its just behind the linkage on the drivers side.

Can't tell what the electrical thing is myself, but I don't have a bullnose either.

Third pic looks like the vent tube, is it plugged? Should have a rubber hose on it with a vent cap on the end.

Last picture is probably the switch for the 4x4 indicator light on the dash, or the low range light.

Guess I should have been more clear @chillman88 if that helps! First picture is of what looks like a relay behind the dash above the glovebox. Second picture is the transmission number. Third is the vent tube on the transfer case. Last picture is my reverse switch with the plug portion of the prongs broken off on it.

That's what I thought the last picture was supposed to be LOL

That makes more sense though!

If I'm understanding you correctly, they do sell replacement pigtails for the reverse switch. That old switch does look pretty ugly so it's a good thing you replaced it!

That floor looks pretty gross, but at least it looks like its still mostly there. Much easier to patch when you can tell what it's SUPPOSED to look like lol.

Was it coated with some kind of sound deadening material?

Agree. It looks like they primed it with a brownish pink paint, the put sound deadening tar stuff in the footwells and under the bench seat area. Driver side vinyl had a heel hole so there was a good bit of rust there. That and every window had a leak. Everything is up now so on to wire wheel and clean up!

edit: meant to add they sprayed the black on the floor sort of then there is some of the silver. Its a mix of things inside. I got the POR15 silver so I can see where I miss.

Was just prepping to grind in here and pulled the bad headlight switch. Its missing the plug (I had never gone near it and assumed the wires were underneath), and the connector is jumpered. This normal?

I have a headlight relay kit on its way plus a new switch. Waiting for relays first.

Wire wheeled and vacuumed up everything. Had a few more spots under the driver’s foot. From that old photo, looks like he wore cowboy boots and the edge of the heel dug through the vinyl letting it get moist down there.

Everything needing filled is circled in pink, including the seatbelt warning wire holes and the holes for the not stock bucket seats
