Greetings, All.
Yeh, yeh, been a while since I've been on here. My bad!

You gents have a source for Berus, other than the place on eBay?

OK, got a set of Beru glowers about a year ago, on eBay. Loved them, till one is now failing in the colder weather.

Went back to eBay today, but Paypal reversed my credit card payment. (They did the same on an oil filter order on eBay about a month ago. PayPal told me today it was done by security, due to problems with the sellers? Whut thuh?)

Anyway, where else? Typ4/Russ? TYVM

The "beru" are sold in a motorcraft bag. Same thing you'll buy at the dealer or parts store, or internet.
I always got them at oreilly.

Well, dang. I lumped the Motorcrafts in with the Autolites.

This old guy remembers when Autolite was a Ford brand, also, but they're now crap from Fram.

Anyway, well, duh. The Motorcrafts are everywhere, so I'm all set. Thanks to all.

I bought my zd9's last march from one of the local chains, installed with new RX controler and they died last week (every one of them). When I switched to a manual recently, I tested all of them with both a test light and ohmed them out with my bluepoint, and they were all the same ohms and good.

Now I do have to say, I found and corrected the wiring feeding the gp solenoid. Is it possible I burned them out holding the button to long, now that there is good power going to them?

Or are the zd9's from ford or international better then from Amazon, local oarts store?

Also I know not to use autolight, (my '91 f250 had the tip of one brake off on week one and caused it to burn a gallon of oil every 100 miles. Lots of smoke. 4 dead in that first week. Sold the truck because I couldny afford the oil. I loved that truck.

It was my understanding to only buy motorcraft or internatiin. Are there any others out there that are good? When I had my square body with a 6.2 there was a newer GP that you couldnt burn out, but took abit longer to heat up. AC Delco 60g's I believe.

I bought the 7.3 style plugs from either Ebay or crapazon (can't remember which) for my f250. They came in the individual sealed motorcraft bags as one would expect.

I wish they made a 60g equivalent for the 6.9/7.3.
I ran those in my 6.2, couldn't burn them out if you tried.

Have you looked at an 8G from AC Delco? I think that's what I'm running
