I'm going to start visually documenting more what I'm doing via youtube.

Goodbye to the wiring mess from the beginning of the thread.
Overall went well. I have to print the electrical diagrams from AllData to figure out a few things and I will update with the details as an FYI once I know.

Check out last Sunday.

Curious things:
Five wires pulled out of the harness and ran to an always hot block.

Hot block? Can you get a pic of that?

And where's the other end of those wires?

Yea it's a fused 12v distro block ran right to the battery.

This is most of the mess I cleaned up from it and alot of it was providing hot-sides to relays.

Here's a pic:

It's the primary accessory/interior harness that terminates on the large ganon plug. Driver side firewall.

While we are at it..
2 leads off the distro block were tied into the back of the primary fuse block. To jump hot access.

And a terminal on the manual glow plug relay had both hot intention and ground on the same post

A nice ornament showed up at my desk from Ford today.

Are you a CCIE, or are you planning to get it?
CCNP currently, was going to shoot for IE written in a couple months but it cuts it close. When Cisco announced the track updates last month I'll wait till that gets sorted and take the new written exam.

I'm not happy with the fitment of the pre-fab metal. I knew I took semi risk in certain pieces like the rear outer floor, rear door pillar. Etc but even so things like the floor pans, the cab mounts support which I dont see yet how they fit, and front door pillars aren't that close. I could have fab it all myself for half the price or less than half the price. I paid the 500 bucks to save time and get close but looks like I will be chopping it up this weekend anyway.

Attached the cab mount support as an example.

I’ve got some super clean rust free cabs here, road trip?
I wish man. Going to bite the bullet and fab through it this weekend. Trying to get back to the mechanical and electrical items which interest me more.
