Motor is making me nervous. It runs fine sounds okay at speed, oil pressure good but at idle it sometimes sounds funny. It may be time for some exploratory surgery as much as I don’t want to.
Probably injectors or lifters. That's typically where most of the noises and weirdness come from.

Did they finally give me a complete set of brake lines? Yes.
Satisfied? Not really.

The fit wasn’t that good. I fought with a couple of the lines that just wanted to leak. They don’t supply the coupling even though they give you the main line to the rear in 2 pieces. I would not say that I was a satisfied customer and I won’t recommend them.
Just a quick follow-up regarding the incorrect stainless line I received from In-Line Tube. I received replacement lines that fit perfectly and "no-charge".

IT SURE WAS MONDAY! After work, I decided to mow the grass at my garage, which is 15 miles west of where I live in another town. As I was going down the highway in my 85 F250 with the window down, a couple of times I smelled something funny. Like something was getting hot. About two miles from town, the truck started shaking like a tire was about to throw a belt. I slowed down and it went away. I was almost convinced that it was the road when it happened again, this time I pulled over still smelling the hot smell. I pulled on all four tires to see if they were loose, nope. None looked like it had thrown a belt. Then I noticed a little bit of smoke coming out from underneath the truck so I looked underneath. The carrier bearing had siezed on the driveshaft and was spinning around inside the rubber cushion. Smell identified. I limped it the1 1/2 miles into town at about 20 MPH. All the time thinking how glad that I had left my 81 F150 at the garage and not taken it home (if I had, I would have just rode an ATV back home on the dirt roads). As I was going up the street to my garage, I noticed that there was a camper sitting in my yard. ***!?!? I recognized it and realized that it was supposed to be in the yard next door and I knew the kid that did it because he did something similar once before. So I how had to make room in the junk yard (might as well be) next door. I figured out where to put it and moved it out of my yard. It had only been about two weeks since I had mowed, but with all of the rain we got this year, the grass was TALL. By the time that I got done, it was almost dark, so I loaded the mower and other stuff into the F150 and headed home. I did stop to give the kid a hard time about leaving crap in my yard. I got there at about 5:30 and didn't make it home until a little bit after 9. It usually only takes me about an hour to mow there. So now I get to change out a carrier bearing this weekend. I guess one thing went right this evening, there was almost a full tank in the F150 so I didn't have to get some gas before I went home.

That stinks jeremy, glad it wasn’t your new engine overheating tho. Carrier bearing is cheap but kinda a bear to replace

Actually put my old, good mechanical pump back in and bypassed my e-pump.

Everyone screams "Why would you do that?"

On the trip to and from the rally, the hills in PA were fine, except for the fuel filter light coming on whenever I was pushing it a little hard. I haven't been able to get on it without having the filter light come on and have to back off for the pump to catch up.

I'm really hoping to head to Conestoga Diesel this weekend, and I'm planning on trying my waste oil on the trip. Got 3/4 of a tank in it for the test run and the E-pump does NOT like it. Figured I'd cut my losses. Everything is there to hook it back up. I have 3/4 tank of straight diesel in the front tank just in case. We'll see how it goes, hopefully you won't see me in the diesel down section on Sunday!

Today I drove it 200 miles round-trip to buy a good used tractor rear tire/rim. The manufacturers of new 14.9-38 tires do not give them away these days... well worth the trip. Despite the temps near 90 with plenty of humidity, the a/c I repaired this spring kept me cool.:cool
Now I just need some quieter tires. A lot of the noise at highway speeds is not the IDI but the Mud-Terrain T/A tires roaring!

Yessir, one in each line before the FSV. Actually one was sucking air the other day so I had to replace it. The new one is on the tank with the oil in it.

Sitting there idling with the e-pump the filter light started to come on. Didn't seem to be an issue at all with the mechanical back in.

Granted, I might have a voltage drop to fix, but it still wasn't going to like the oil mix. You could hear it was unhappy.
