Hey Pull-n-TugTx, I have 2 more B61s if he is interested in owning a family. 1 is pretty complete with a big pto winch and gin poles, the other one is just a cab and frame. Located about 80 miles west Ft. Worth.
This is true, but when mine was only stuck about 1/4 open (wasn't enough to see) my oil pressure at idle on a good aftermarket gauge was 2 lbs, 2000 rpm was about 15 lbs. After I "unstuck" the plunger it went to 35 psi at 1000 rpm and 45 psi at 2500.
The relief valve may not be your...
You can only see about 1/2 or so of the relief port when looking at it from the oil filter side. When mine was stuck open the only way I could tell was by feeling with an oring pick. See if you can "hook" the edge of the plunger inside the relief port.
I have been pulling trailers for 35 years and when I was a kid I had this tongue weight thing drilled into me forever!! I was about 12 or 13 at the time and was with my dad hauling cattle with his 14' bumper pull cattle trailer (we still have it) and the cows shifted to the rear of the trailer...
For those interested, last night I switched out the new clutch off my 90 with the old one off my 94. The fit was perfect and I could not see any external difference in shape or dimensions. The fans themselves were a little different, as the 94 fan has larger blades so I swapped the clutches...
That makes sense to me.
The thing is my 94 runs hotter than what I like and I think the fan clutch is weak and a Motorcraft clutch even on Rock Auto is still $150 higher than the M/C brand on there for the 90 model.
So, my 90 has a nearly new clutch on it and all it gets run is short...
And why does Rock Auto show a YB3163 for my 94 IDI T? What is going on here? Oriellys shows the YB3162 (fits my 90) for $100 and the YB3163 is $384!!
What are the differences? C'mon guys, somebody knows the answer to this.
Doncha just love it how these people must have Xray vision and he just knows it broke a rod and the crank isn't damaged, and all you will hafta do is drop the pan and stick a rod in it.....cookoocookoocookoo
FWIW it is a pretty nice looking truck, I just don't see 3K of nice there with a...
It may be a bad ground, IDK where to start looking for that. I have had the wheel off and checked the contact rings, and felt all that was in order. I have also replaced the cruise buttons as that is what the tests in the tech article pointed to, but that didn't help any.
The tech...
Ok, this in on my 94 F-350. The cruise control has been intermittent ever since I bought the truck and I have went through the diagnosis thread in the tech articles.
I first noticed several months ago that by pushing various cruise buttons, it would cause my temp and oil pressure gauges...
On the 94 CC 4x4 in the last 2 weeks: Heating issues, so I pulled the original radiator out of my 94 Super Duty parts truck and had it rebuilt. Radiator guy said the Taiwan aluminum unit its replacing was was actually for a gasser. Also installed a ball valve in the heater core supply hose...
