Graham's Scarlet Moose has the dreadfull combination of a T-19 and 4.10's on his SRW extended cab 86' F-250. I'd like to swap it out for a Dana 61/70 or Ford 10.25 with a 3.08 ratio gear set in it. Anybody got one? Will buy or trade.

3.55 is the lowest you want to go. I had 3.08's in a truck once and there was no real fuel economy gain due to I was outside the powerband and most importantly, if there was any resemblance of a hill, I was immeadiately dropping gears. but if you really have your heart set in one, they can be found in trucks with semi float rears more often than full float rears.

Ok, i called the guy and he said to stop in and look. All the rearends were 355.s with full floaters, but there was a semi-floater there. It was a 4.10. Sorry Mel, nothing to be had in my neck of the continent!

i had a guy swear there is no such thing as a 3.55 for the ford 10.25. just fyi

go call him on it. it's posted everywhere.
now it is true......
that 3.55 does not exist in DANA axles.
that is why you will find certain 4X4 trucks with Sterling 10.25 3.55 rears and DANA 3.54 front axles.
