I want to run a mix of 50/50 JP8 and WMO. Will this work well. Both of which I can get for free. And what do I filter the WMO with? Thanks. Also do I need to start and stop on Diesel or can I run both tanks of WMO and just go for it? Thanks again.

if you can find some of the military publications on how to feed the old multifeul deuces, they have some very interesting recipies for feeding your motor. rule of thumb is to maintain 50% cut of diesel feul in your mix. any other garbage you throw in needs to be balanced of the viscosity.

JP-8 is jet fuel. Every day we dump about 2 gallons of it for fuel samples out of the birds. All of our ground support equipment runs on it. Which most of them have really nice 4 cyl detroits. Gotta love a 4cyl that can pull 26,000 lbs around.

All of our diesel trucks and pickups at my Guard base run on JP-8, all year. I think they add some lubricant, but not sure.
