Wiring issue

hey guys sorry if this is posted in the wrong thread but I have a 1988 7.3 idi and I was riding down the road and all a sudden smoke starts blowing through my vents I shut the trick off and pop my hood and there’s smoke everywhere but no wires are burnt/melted or frayed and there’s no power in the cab any ideas ?

Well that would do it. It's your actual ignition switch, not just the key switch.
