I haven't welded the downpipe to the exhaust yet. So its pretty free-flowing with just 4" intake and downpipe on the other end. I'm sure the ceramic coating helps spool time and boost too

If ya want whistle, put one of these mufflers on, you can hear the whistle a block away, depending on which direction it's installed, one way it whistle's loud, other way it's kind of quite. The whole muffler part is only about a foot long, about 8" diameter. Those little cups inside make the whistle. That's on my PSD 3-1/2" exhaust.

intentionally nicking blades just poses a risk to damaging the turbo.

having to have whistle sound if you don't have it and you do have have decent boost is just being a big part of the PEN 15 crowd IMHO...

Lol ha ha ha. I'm just wondering if my lack of whistle is due to having the stock 093 exhaust housing and not the upgraded one from ats? I have the 3" outlet and dp, just not the larger exhaust housing

yeah i had to do that for a bit while waiting for the intermediate pipe from banks on chip truck after the turbo install.drove me nuts after 3 days lol.way too much.

Non gated 088 kit and whistles like a monster no problems.

I didn't think the stock 088 whistled much. But with a custom 3" aluminum intake it whistles plenty.

I dunno I could not get one damn thing outta my stock 093 maybe cause it was brand new. And yes the 06 has a whistle kit lol I had an 04 6.0L with an 03 engine 10 vane charger
