looking to maybe upgrade my turbo. I would like to find a 9 blade something with a loud turbo whistle. from my understanding the 7.3 powerstroke has the same manifold and fittings as the 7.3 idit if not then please correct me if anyone has any upgrade ideas let me know

As far as I know, the PSD turbo is completely different than the ones for our engines.

CDD also sells a drop in upgraded turbo. Those are probably your two best bets for more boost and more whistle, but it comes at a price.
If you don't already have head studs, you will want them with the upgraded turbos, and to properly spool them you will need enough fuel, which may mean an upgraded injection pump. Just changing the intake, down pipe and exhaust to freer flowing can also help with power and sound.
They are never going to sound like a 6.0 though.
