Who has had success with HHO(aka Hydroxy, aka Hydrogen)?

I did a search and found the following link last updated about a year ago. I recognize some people have tried it, have had problems, and have given up. I want to know if anyone out there has actually designed a HHO generator for their IDI diesel and had success.

I've done a lot of reading on this from other forums and watched a lot of designs on youtube. It does require some specific setup to build an efficient HHO generator but looks like it can be done AND looks like it specifically can work for this type of injection engine.

Let me know what designs you've tried, any tweaks you've made to your fuel(lean, rich, timing, etc) to work with the system and what your results are. Or feel free to point me to any posts where you've already provided this information.

I'm not really interested in a friend of a friend who tried it and blew up their car. Not interested in explanations of physics. I'll read the old post if I want that.

I'm on the cusp of just breaking down and designing one(or rather using a successful design) to combust more diesel in my 7.3. wanted to find out who's succeeded first and how.

instead of building all this junk,burning up your alternator,etc why not just install a small bottle of Hydrogen and a low pressure regulator to slowly spray hydrogen into the intake?A tank is only a few buck at a welding supply house.

Here's 43 pages of some of the most innovative Explorer guys talking about it, one guy, aldive, gets over 30mpg consistently with a vehicle that qualified for cash for clunkers.

Now I don't know what affect it would have in a diesel but I would not run one not in my explorer either. If it was ever in an accident and that thing was found to be the cause of bodily harm to others you would be looking at big liability, I know my attorney would be all over it.

While I like sticking it to THE MAN if you already have a diesel we have so many other ways to do it WVO, WMO, propane. Not that I don't like experimentation because I do but I also like learning from other people's mistakes and not loosing my nest egg.
