Im assembling a T18 that I took apart many months ago, and I have a piece left over. I dont remember removing it, and I dont see it anywhere on my diagram. Around the same time, I had a parts T19 on the bench, so it could be from that, but I dont see it on that diagram either. It seems like some sort of a shield for one of the bearings, but I dont really know. Anybody recognize it?
Who can identify this transmission part? T18 or possibly T19

Slinger / shield for front input shaft. Should be on both.

Thats what it looks like to me. Otherwise its pocket parts. Those are parts left over after a rebuild that you stick in your pockets.

Gee, Gary. That's not the definition you've given us before for "pocket parts". You've always told us that pocket parts were the small items you happened to find at Pick-n-Pull.
