Imna get My Rotunda meter out. But for the life of Me, I can't remember the procedure. :dunno

-20 degrees offset- 9.5 degrees @ 2000 rpm???? :dunno

Your close. 8.5 degrees @ 2000 RPM with the pulse method.

a "how to" on both valve and IP timing would be pretty cool. Maybe it's out there, but ididn't see it.

not trying to hyjack a thread, just trying to understand things better. ive been playing around with my timing meter and just cant get it set to my likings. i have a snap-on lumimag meter thats digital and uses the luminosity probe to time. theres two issues that i dont understand. 1st- what does a 20* offset mean, and 2nd- does neg on the meter mean atdc or btdc or does pos onn the meter mean atdc or btdc?
