Where to get petcock to drain coolant.

Can anyone recommend where I can get the petcocks ya'll are installing in the block to drain the coolant.

I think they are 1/4 pipe thread. If so any auto parts store or Hardware store will have them. Autozone has them in Dorman #61106

Yep those are the ones I wanted. I will look for some 1/4 inch, do ya'll use brass?

Oh I don't know carbon steel, or stainless steel.

carbon steel, no.. stainless, yes. but why spend that type of money,,when brass will do,,and you dont see them anyway?????????????
