Where to get new wheels?

I'm looking for a different set of rims for my truck. I like how mine look, but the wide tires are just too much. I want to put an OEM recommended tire on the truck, and I think (but haven't confirmed) that my rims are too wide.

If I could find someone locally to swap with, I'd trade my tires and rims for their rims.

If your wheels are 16x8 you could put 235/85r16s or 265/75r16s. The 265s are a better fit for 8s, but 235s work fine too.

How wide are your rims? I have 9" wide wheels now, and want to go wider since I'm running 315s on the truck. These rims originally had 265/75R16 tires on them. If your rims are 9" wide, you should be fine for OEM tires. Wider than 9" will most likely require a narrower rim.

I honestly don't know how wide the rims are yet. I hope to have a chance to check tonight. I suspect that they are 8" I hadn't though of the fact that an OEM tire will still fit them. That would be ideal because I really like the wheels. Seems like everyone else does too.

Just checked, and all the P235/85-16 tires that I'm finding will only go up to 7" or 7.5" for a few. Still need to see how wide my rims are.
