I have Costco batteries in my truck and they work very well. The batteries that Kragen, Costco, Autozone and Sears sell are all made by Johnson controls. Just different specs for different vendors.

i got napa batteries this past winter. cost $213 total i think.

it was like 0 degrees out and the damn truck wouldn't start. batteries were from 05 i think! spent the money and it fired right off again like it was 70degrees out.;Sweet these have that big reserve capacity needed for extended cranking. really help trying to prime fuel systems too.

I like Interstate batteries but I'm running Motorcraft because the rookies at work replace good batteries and I can snag them from the core pallet for free.

I got mine from Shucks, $100 each but I get 20% off for working there occasionally.

stay away from the wal mart batts. the only thing good about them is the free replacement.

i just got some from autozone..it was a little over 200 for the pair.

I have heard that the quality of wal-mart batteries will depend on the store location. Supposedly they get their batteries from the closest supplier and just relabel them. My friend worked in the auto section of a walmart and told me how many batteries were getting returned each day so I knew to stay away.

walmart batteries are great if you have a chevy with the side posts. when you strip out the threads and then some the people at walmart will just replace them even though its not covered by the warranty. LOLLOL

CAT batteries freshly installed today in my 91 F250 4x4.....880CCA....Can be expensive retail but when I worked from Freightliner it was very rare for us to warranty a CAT battery....Very well made inside to handle vibration in trucks and heavy equipment....They also have a rope carrying handle which is nice too.
