Wanted: '87'-91 Ex-Cab Diesel

After many threads, Decided to try and swap cabs. Looking for rust free extended cab '87-'91 (Or any interchangeable year) Any color. Auto or manual. I have the cover plate. No title needed, I'll use the same dash and door placard I have now. Surface rust is fine just not "terminal". Will trade current cab plus misc. parts and cash.

Just the cab. Don;t have the room or cash for a whole truck. But I can never have enough spare parts.

Tried doing more to my current cab but gave up. Between the 24 brazillion spot welds buried in the rust ya can't see. To the fact its eating my grinder wheels faster than I can keep them on cutting it out...A new cab would be way better. it can be bare for all I care. I'll just put all my current pieces in. Just hope the front clip doesn't fall off from the bad core support.

There is that much rust in south texas? Is it the ocean salt?

Maybe. I know if you're in Galveston, Forget it. I saw a bronco that spent its life there and when it got to the yard, It was worth only scrap. Think, High levels of humidity, then rain, maybe ocean salt. It happends. I'm not even an hour off the coast line.

The 86 in Sig came from Cleveland Tx both cab drip rails are rusted out fenders have a bit of rust not to bad frame is surface rust I think the Po went to Galveston and padre island a lot.
Now the 85 came from Bryan/College Station and is clean and rust free.

Found a clean ass cab. $130. But its sitting on a rim under the doors thus tweaking them up....others were OK. Found another, gun shot hole in the floor, no rust, sitting on rims..,..pics tonight. Mobile version isn't mobile friendly. On the other hand, got a complete air cleaner assembly with good filter and battery cable set for $30.
