Well heres how I think it goes;
pull driveshaft and drain fluid, loosen pinion yoke nut, pull axle shafts just enough to get the ring and carrier out, loosen carrier bearing bolts and remove carrier with ring, and remove pinion gear. Note how many shims and where they are. I would expect an hour to an hour and a half for this.
Now is when you bolt the new ring gear to the carrier, and make sure to have locktite on those bolts.
Someone correct me if Im wrong, Im just going off the top of my head here, Ill let someone else do the assembly
