So this last week I was changing out my oil cooler and deicided to add a coolant filter while I was at it. In the process of flushing the system i cleaned it out with 4 gallons of distilled water and 4 gallons of vinegar. I tried to flush out as much of the water/vinegar mixture as I could, but i think there may still be some left in the system. I could only get it to take a little over 7 gallons of coolant. even though it should be mostly water, the coolant smells a bit vinegary... Should I be worried? I know vinegar can eat though many metals, but if there is any vinegar in there, it should be very dilute. Should I add some baking soda to neutralized it? i really don't want to have to throw away brand new cat elc.

Thanks, Gus.
