Value of My Truck

What do you guys think i could get for my truck based on were i live? i realize there is a LOT of variables, but just a rough estimate would be nice.

i know you can't offer much without any pics of the truck so tuesday i will post some up.

does the fact that the entire cooling system is new really mean anything? same for new injectors and a new(reman) IP?

I would say a 2wd truck up north is not gonna be worth too much. I would say in Perfect condition about 2,500-3,000

i guess mileage would be of help, 205,***. i would have to look for the exact mileage.

for the location that it is in i would consider it in excelent shape as far as rust goes. it is by no means a rattle trap. truck is solid.

xlt, cruise, tilt wheel, am/fm/cassete.

as far as selling my truck goes......
the other day my dad an i were talking about putting an exhaust system on my truck and he asked me if i had thought about how long i would like to keep the truck. i said i have never really thought about it. he then asked me if i would be interested in getting a "newer" truck specifically a super duty with a 7.3 psd in it. i really have yet to find out if he is serious or not. i know i have said that i don't use this truck for what it was intended for, so you'll ask why the hell would i be looking at getting a superduty? the type of cars that i would like to drive are WAY out of my budget right now and probly will be for quite some time. and the cars that would be in my price range would be not really to my liking. i know that you can't have everything in life, but i do have a choice. i have not driven my truck daily for about a month now and when i did drive it to work once words could almost not describe how happy i was to be driving my truck again. i love drving trucks and thanks to this IDI i really like diesel. don't get me wrong i have nothing against my truck.

so that is what is going on right now.

a PSD it would not be a daily driver either.

Nice of your Dad to offer, but the maintenance on a PSD
would be significantly higher with less things you
can work on yourself ....

my idi is my dd actually. i just have not driven it in a month b/c of my rear leaf spring mounts being broken. it took so long to do that b/c when you only have one day every seven days to work on things it takes time. the psd would be my dd.

i have thought about the maintinence as well and the less things that i can diag and fix.

Once you learn a PSD they are simple to work on. Just like every engine, they have their own quirks. The ONLY special tool to do your own maintenance is a $300 scanner.

Typically NO. You need software specific to the PSD. Like advance cannot read codes on a PSD
