Valley pan removal

I didn’t see a thread on this, but hoping to draw from the knowledge on this forum. I bough my first turbo kit and I’m getting ready to install it. I purchased a new valley pan / gasket with the kit and I was wondering - does the IP need to be removed to replace the valley pan or can you get away with just removing the injection lines?

Yes the IP does need to come off. There is a bolt or two underneath it.
