my day started at midnight till 2 am then resumed at 7 am when i left to rent the trailer. though i was the GC for the project so i didnt get as dirty as Barney and Russ it was still a long day. fun though

And as we discussed during the project, we had the transmission out in less time than it took the girls to ride 2 rides. (long lines, lots of sweaty folks at the amusement park)

Ok I'm back home and with cell coverage finally.

Y'all had a weekend like I did. Sorry I couldn't make it for the fun and without internet and forgetting your # I was clueless as to what was going on.

Didn't leave MI until saturday morning and blew the bearings out of my water pump 300 miles later dragging the TT through BF nowhere Ohio dodging the turnpike. Got reeeeeeeeeeealy lucky when the serpentine belt popped off just before the fan came to rest against the radiator without chewing into it. My heart sank when I first popped the hood expecting just a busted serpentine belt and saw the fan leaning on the radiator at about a 15 degree angle and chewed metal debris around the water pump.

$100 tow bill to the nearest Autozone, $150 waterpump, $30 worth of tools and 6 hours later we were back on the road and called it quits at the nearest campsite until this morning which ironicly was 1 mile from where I broke down.

Glad it wasn't his tranny and we'll have to try to catch y'all again another day.








P.S. It sucks being towed by a Chebby wrecker when the guy keeps busting Ford jokes .........but the Superduty got her revenge when he started complaining how heavy the F-350 was when he started to lift it and his Chebby promptly puked a hydraulic hose ending his fun and sending him to the shop too.....Guess he spoke too soon

Mike just let me know when your passing through the area and we'll see if we can't hook up. Sorry to hear you had problems too. Ohio and oilburners just didn't mix last weekend.

Gotta build my play money / sh*t happens fund back up because I've been tapped pretty hard running about 7000 miles the last 30 - 40 days helping my folks clean that house out my sister trashed and I feel like I am on borrowed time now with 339k on the odometer.
