Ok I have a '89 non-turbo 7.3 I was wondering if I could put a turbo kit on it and not mess anything up or what would be recommended to fix?

Thot 7.3s could hold 15-16 psi?![]()
Just take your time and install the kit properly. I would--and this might just be me--install an injector return line rebuild kit (2 o-rings per injector, new caps and hoses) and install new Motorcraft glowplugs because these become difficult to change once a turbo is installed--well some turbo's anyway. You won't hurt anything with a turbo as long as you have a pyrometer and don't crank the pump up all the way. You will however wonder why you didn't add a turbo from day one![]()
