That "7.3 turbo" was sold by ATS for both the 6.9 and 7.3. This information is in the PDFs, which are readily available.

I don't look at PDF's, my computer never lets me run the damned things right. Besides, since I wasn't aware of that, and as I prefaced my statements, I think my point was made. Well, it would've been nice to know that, but my ideology was based upon the concept of 'purpose use' turbos, and the 6.9 and 7.3 being different. :dunno

You wouldn't be able to tell much difference, if any at all between the 6.9 and 7.3.
The turbo will always wake it up.
Turboing gassers vs diesels is quite a bit different.

0.4 / 6.9 = .057 ... we're talking about a 1/20th difference here. It was never going to make a big difference. All else is equal aside from displacement (compression, redline, etc) so it would never have been very significant. But in any case, it is not a turbo for the 7.3. It is a turbo for the 6.9 and 7.3.

Sounds like no turbo today.
Says he worked til 9 last night and didn't get a chance to pull the turbo kit.
Supposed to be meeting me tomorrow after work.
If there is some excuse that I can't get it tomorrow I may tell him to forget it. :(
