TRUCK DIES

In the morning when I leave for work my truck will die.It will start right up.It hasn't happened for a couple of weeks.This morning when I shift,the motor will shudder.It idles fine and runs good except when I let off to shift.
Looking for some help before it strands me.

Your govenor or metering valve is sticking. Dose it up with Howes Diesel Treat.

The above posting is about as true as it gets. If you can't find the fuel treatment above just remove the fuel filter and filll it with atf fluid. Run the engine for a few minutes and let it sit overnite so the atf can clean up the pump internals. If you don't want to remove the filter just pour 2 quarts of atf into the fuel tank when you refill it with diesel. That Howes or atf will clean up most any pump sticking problem.
